The Search for nominees for the 2022 JCI Mauritius TOYP is ON!

“The Outstanding Young Persons, 36th Edition, 2022” Nomination officially opens on 22 March 2022. JCI City Plus along with JCI Mauritius encourages the future of Mauritian and youngsters to uphold their beliefs.

This year’s theme, for the 36th edition of this program, is “Nou Zeness, Nou lavenir” and follows from the JCI mission that is to empower young people to create positive change and to believe that our youth is the strength of our country. Through this program, JCI wishes to
share the stories of these young daring and determined individuals who are inspiring others by their talent and level of excellence.

Last year, Hansley Noruthun of Mauritius has been selected as a 2021 JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (JCI TOYP) Honoree in the category of Scientific and/or Technological Development for his passion about space and his active participation to help
developing countries, specifically targeting youth in Africa, to explore and develop space technology and education in civil society, academia and in the private sector.

JCI Mauritius invites young Mauritius aged between 18-40 years old to be nominated in one of  ten categories. Nominees will then go through the selection process lead by an appointed jury panel, at the end of which, 5 finalists will be selected to represent Mauritius. The five national honourees will have the chance to participate in the International TOYP Program where they will join the pool of around 2,000 honourees from around the world for the selection of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Award.
