The TOYP Award by JCI serves to formally recognise young leaders who create positive change and excel in their chosen fields. JCI raises the status of socially responsible leaders across the globe by recognising them. The award winners lead as an example to their peers and encourage them to seek excellence and serve others. They inspire young people to be better leaders and create better societies through their story of discovery, determination and ingenuity.

Past award winners have been leading examples in the progress of humanity multiple times. Many of them created a global wave of change. All have continue to create postive change by serving humanity in great ways. Some well known national award winners include John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger, Elvis Presley, Jackie Chan and many more, all named before the age of 40 and before they had achieved national prominence.
